… from our hen parties

I wanted to thank Eva L’Amour for helping us have probably one of the best nights out ever – the party was amazing and my hubby was gobsmacked when he saw the pictures of me with nipple tassels on (I’m not a bad twirler as it happens!). Our sides were splitting by the end of the night.

Gill Campbell, Dundee

Thank you so much for yesterday. The burlesque session was by far the best part of the day. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Many were apprehensive but, hey, weren’t they all fab. Viva made the event so fantastic. She has fabulous teaching skills and made the subject so much fun.

Jenny Myles, Newcastle

Just to give you a wee bit of feedback re Saturday… we loved it!!! Sass Galore was fantastic and the girls who had been a wee bit nervous about the class really warmed to her and really enjoyed it! It was a fantastic experience for all, we left feeling very empowered and a few of the girls put the skills to use that night!
Laura Millar, Newcastle

I just wanted to thank you for the hen party lesson on Saturday. We all had a fantastic time, and really couldn’t have hoped for more!

Victoria Sharpus-Jones, Glasgow

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say a massive thank you for Saturday. I couldn’t believe that (almost) everyone gave the old tassels a go at the end – well done you!! It was a brilliant laugh, and Viva was an absolute star, so thank you so much. I’ll certainly be pointing any upcoming hen or girly parties in your direction in the future!
Sarah Morrison, Edinburgh

Just wanted to let you know that we all had a fantastic time and, after all the questions, twirled the tassels after all! Sass was a wonderful teacher and made us all laugh loads. I’d recommend the burlesque class to anyone looking for a function with a difference. The venue was perfect too and I ‘S-shaped’ my ass off when I got picked as best dressed runner up at Vegas later on!

Zoe Jordan, Edinburgh

Just wanted to say how fantastic Sass was on Saturday…. the girls had a brilliant time!

Emma Capuano, Edinburgh

I just wanted to say a very big thank you to Viva for teaching our burlesque dance lesson last Saturday. We had a fantastic time, and the photos that were taken are brilliant. It was a really enjoyable and fun session, and that was all down to her!

Emma Shorthouse, Leicester

We all thoroughly enjoyed the dancing class! The bride to be had a great time and Eva made us all feel comfortable straight away. We are now thinking about enrolling in a course of burlesque.

… from our workshops

I love MoB Academy’s classes for many, many reasons. No matter how bad your day, week or year, when you go to a class you have such fun that for that short period of time you totally switch off and forget your troubles/problems. The exotic and glamorous world of burlesque allows you to indulge your inner diva and dress to impress, and the more sparkly bits and feathers the better!! I also know that many women who attend the classes do so because it improves their self confidence and allows them to re-discover their own sensuality, which is often lost among piles of dirty washing and hoovering, whilst learning how to laugh at themselves. I have made many good friends through the classes.

Just wanted to say thanks to Viva and Gypsy for all you have done. Before coming along to your summer workshops, I had no dancing skills whatsoever, and wouldn’t have imagined for a second I would be doing a dance along with all the other girls as part of a show!

‘Sugar Kane’, Glasgow

Just wanted to thank you both for the fantastic time my friend and I had at your summer workshops. When we first started, little did we know that we would end up on stage at The Barrowlands, having met so many lovely friendly, genuine girls (and two gorgeous GIs)! We had a wonderful time and it was absolutely brilliant at the show. We had such a high that lasted for days. Not to mention the great sense of achievement and, well, just the fun of it all.
Emma Graham aka Misty Vie, Glasgow

Just I loved my training with Viva Misadventure. I learned so much! She was really good at explaining the routines and I can’t wait to train more. I was also so impressed at her attitude and love of burlesque. Her enthusiasm really carried me through when I doubted myself and got tired.

Sam Brown, London

A friend and I have just finished the Beginners course in burlesque with Viva and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. We really did not know what to expect and were a little scared at the prospect of baring any flesh! Viva was however great and put us at ease from the start allowing everyone to dance the way they felt comfortable. I did not know what I would take away from the course when I started it but after 12 (very quick) weeks I have had a great confidence boost and a lot of laughs. There is a lot more to burlesque that I initially thought and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about it.
