For the ultimate feeling of freedom and escape, why not ‘drag it up’ with MoB Academy’s Drag King workshop.  The Drag King holds an honoured place within the British theatre tradition from petite principal boys to butch builders.  Let us guide you through the transformation from lady to gent without any invasive procedures, and with a guaranteed pain-free reversal!

Starting with a brief historical overview of the genre, we will take you from the basics of character development and back-story to posture, posing and movement; this workshop will have you walking like John Wayne!

A bawdy exploration of drag king stereotypes will have you laughing, sashaying and winking at traditional male role models.   By the end of the workshop you will have found your inner drag king, and socks will never have the same function again.
